Michael Muhammad Knight is an author of over 13 books including Taqwacores, Why I'm a Salafi, The Five Percenters, Blue Eyed Devil, and Metaphysical Africa. He received his PhD in Islamic Studies from UNC and a Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard. He is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Central Florida.
