University Worship: Palm Sunday
All are welcome to attend this ecumenical service of Christian worship on Sunday mornings throughout the year. Duke Chapel is home to a long--and living--tradition of faithful preaching and inspiring sacred music. Join us as we sing, pray, give thanks, and learn together.
Our guest preacher, Revd Dr Sam Wells, is Vicar of St Martin-in-the-Fields, a unique configuration of commercial, cultural, and charitable initiatives rooted in a vibrant congregational life. He is also a widely known preacher, pastor, writer, broadcaster, and theologian. He co-founded the HeartEdge movement and co-authored the Being With enquirers' course. He has served as a Church of England parish priest for 25 years. He also spent 7 years in North Carolina, where he was Dean of Duke University Chapel.
Parking is available in the Bryan Center garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address. Receive a pass for free parking on Sunday mornings at the visitor desk inside the Chapel.
Services are livestreamed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/dukechapel and broadcast live on channel 12 of the Duke Hospital TV system and on the radio on 620 AM WDNC. Sign up for the Duke Chapel Sermons podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
For a listing of Christian education offerings before the service, consult the Chapel's website calendar.
