VFF: Duke University Health System: Enabling superior performance thru actionable visual analytics

For over 24 years, Duke Health has relied on the Performance Services department to solve problems, improve processes, and turn data into knowledge. The team is a mix of service line engineers, business intelligence professionals and quality experts that partner on delivering a variety of solutions. We contribute to organizational success by improving and managing performance and putting the person who needs our care at the center of everything we do.

This presentation will discuss Performance Services' reporting journey and several use cases including (but not limited to) unplanned readmissions, staffing optimization, operating room (OR) surgeon utilization, supply chain, hand hygiene compliance, emergency department (ED) physician consults, NSQIP (National Surgery Quality Improvement Project) reporting and patient satisfaction.
