Tuesday, May 26, 2020
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Listen and learn with Kelsey Graywill, a Duke '18 graduate who created her own major, Nueroasthetics, and is currently completing a master's candidate in the one-of-a-kind Psychology of Arts, Neuroaesthetics & Creativity program, based at the University of London, Goldsmiths. Because of her tremendous work in the Art Community, after graduation the Duke University Union (DUU) endowed an award in her name called the Graywill Award for Arts Leadership & Service. She is currently pursuing a career in medicine and her artwork and research explores the intersection of art and science and the intermingling of beauty and suffering as central to the human condition. Her multidisciplinary approach to art has led her to develop numerous projects spanning visual art, language, technology, and education alike. Join us for an extraordinary chat with questions and conversation to follow.
