Devised Theater Workshop

Duke students are welcome to join a devised theater workshop with Chelsea Thaler, the Artist in Residence for the Department of Theater Studies this academic year. In addition to teaching, Chelsea is adapting Anton Chekhov's tragicomic masterpiece "The Three Sisters" into "The Trio," a contemporary clown piece sure to be...total fire. (Spoiler alert!) Wednesday's workshop is open to all Duke students; drop in or sign up in advance by emailing chelsea.thaler@duke.edu. "The Trio" will be staged in February. Student participants can dip their toe into the creative experience for one or a few workshops as the piece is devised, or buckle in for the ride between development and performance.
