Latke vs. Hamentasch Debate with Jewish Life at Duke
Sponsor(s): Jewish Life at Duke
Are you Team Latke or Team Hamentasch? It's an important question concerning two Jewish food favorites. Inspired by a 78-year-old tradition at the University of Chicago, Jewish Life at Duke will host Professors Adam Levine and Dan Scolnic to argue for the Hanukkah staple or the Purim necessity, respectively. The debate will be settled at 6pm on Wednesday, February 25th at the Freeman Center for Jewish Life.
Free tickets are available for Duke students starting February 3rd and to the general public starting February 10th at tickets.duke.edu.
