Cinematic Arts Lab Salon Kickoff: Video Remixing for Live Performance
The Cinematic Arts Practice Lab is launching a new series of low-key, hands-on sessions for people working on creative film and film-adjacent projects across Duke.
This kickoff salon will focus on remixing video and sound for live performance and installation. Participants will experiment with video remix tools, and learn a bit about the process of video remixing in a relaxed, collaborative environment.
Cinematic Arts Lab Salons are designed to bring together film-interested undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff across departments. Curiosity and interest in creative process are all that's needed to attend.
The format is participatory and experimental rather than lecture-based or critique-focused.
Light snacks will be provided.
Open to Duke undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff
No prior experience required
