You've heard the nay-sayers proclaim that Windows 8 is doomed to failure. You've also heard the fanboys preach that Windows 8 is the greatest thing ever. Who's right? Who's wrong? Come and find out as we explore what has changed (and what hasn't) in Microsoft's latest operating system offering. What is the Windows 8 Start screen, how do you use it, why is it there, and should you really care? If the Start screen is the new "paint job", what has changed under the hood? What fun and exciting changes are there that aren't exactly visible right away, waiting to be discovered instead? We'll try to answer these questions, as well as any others that come up.Learn IT @ Lunch is designed to be an opportunity to learn about technology in a relaxed lunch environment. Each session includes a presentation followed by Q & A. No pre-registration is required. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. NOTE: Lunch is not provided. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.
