Rare Music Concert: Music in Handel's London

DUMIC (Duke University Musical Instrument Collections) presents works by J.C. Bach, Purcell, Boyce, and Handel, performed by Sarah Huebsch, oboe, and Kelsey Schilling, bassoon. Sarah Huebsch holds degrees from the New England Conservatory and Indiana University and performs on historical and modern oboes throughout North America. Sarah has performed with the Washington National Cathedral Baroque Orchestra, Spire Baroque Orchestra (Kansas City), Grand Harmonie (Boston and New York), New Comma Baroque (Chicago), Callipygian Players (Chicago), Ensemble Lipzodes (Quito, Ecuador), Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, and Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble (with Chatham Baroque), and among others. Kelsey Schilling completed his studies in Early Music at Indiana University with Michael McCraw. He performs regularly with the Fort Wayne Bach Collegium and the Washington National Cathedral Baroque Orchestra and has played with many other period orchestras throughout the country. Mr. Schilling has performed under such distinguished conductors as Sigiswald Kuijken, Barthold Kuijken and Martin Haselböck. An active chamber musician, Kelsey frequently collaborates with numerous small ensembles in Indiana. Notable festivals have included the Berkeley Festival and Exhibition (California), Festival de Música Sacra (Quito, Ecuador) and the International Young Artist's Presentation - Historical Winds (Antwerp, Belgium).
