Join SOCA for our signature annual event, Caribana! Caribbana is an annual program that occurs in the spring. Named after the Caribbana Festival (North America's largest street festival) in Toronto, our intention is to live up to its namesake and bring a Carnival-like feel to Duke for those that are interested in Caribbean culture. We will have a full buffet of Caribbean dishes, costumes, giveaways, activities, live entertainment and a parade!! This event is an official part of BSAI weekend, and we wholeheartedly thank our sponsors (SOFC, BSA & the CMA). The event is FREE and open to ALL students, faculty and staff.Rain Location: Penn Pavilion
Type: CARIBBEAN FOCUS, MULTICULTURAL/IDENTITY, CONCERT/MUSIC, SOCIAL, FESTIVAL/FAIR, FREE FOOD AND BEVERAGES, and GIVEAWAYS
