About the workshop:

Learn the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel and hand-building your own ceramics pieces!

About the instructor:

Mark Kozma has been working as a professional potter and artist in Durham for the past four years. Originally moving to the area for it's rich ceramic culture, he spent two years as a pottery apprentice before continuing my craft independently. He also has a strong background in wood and metal works, and enjoy many different creative processes.

DukeCreate Workshops are free to all Duke students and staff, with priority given to students. Class size is limited. Students must sign up in advance at https://training.oit.duke.edu/dukecreate. Walk-ins will only be accommodated on a space-available basis. Duke students can reserve their spot in advance. Online enrollment for Duke staff opens on the day of the workshop.
