Note NEW 5 pm START TIME. Due to the length of the program, the concert will begin at 5 pm. At 6:30, there will be a 30 minute break before the concert resumes at 7 pm. Advanced students in the Duke Music Department's chamber music program perform works from the 18th-21st centuries. Student chamber music groups are coached by members of the Ciompi Quartet and other Duke Music faculty. Works to be performed (excerpts or in their entirety): Beethoven: Piano Trio Op. 1, no. 3 in C Minor and Piano Trio in B-flat Major, Op. 11; Brahms: Piano Trio No. 1 in B Major, Op. 8; Grieg: String Quartet No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 27; Mozart: Piano Trio in B-flat Major, K.502; Arensky: Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 32; Schubert: Piano Trio in B-flat, D.898; Dvorak: String Quartet in E-flat, Op. 51; Mendelssohn: String Quartet in F Minor, Op. 80; Carl Nielsen: Wind Quintet, Op. 43; Judd Greenstein: "At the end of a really great day."
