Exhibit Reception - Duke Kunshan University: From the Ground Up

Join us for a special reception celebrating the opening of our new exhibit, Duke Kunshan University: From the Ground Up.

Duke Kunshan is a liberal arts and research institution that was developed as a partnership between Duke University in Durham and Wuhan University and the city of Kunshan in China. Student and faculty interviews, photographs, documents, music, architectural drawings, newspaper articles, and other materials reveal the dynamic evolution of this collaborative joint-venture university.

The reception program will begin at 5:00 p.m. with welcome remarks by Provost Sally Kornbluth. Mary Brown Bullock, Executive Vice Chancellor Emerita of DKU, will speak about the internationalization of China's higher education system and current China-US education relations. Peter Lange, Provost Emeritus of Duke University, will discuss the development of DKU.

Light refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public.
