James G. Stewart, Associate Professor at Allard Law School, University of British Columbia, will speak on the issue of the pillage of natural resources as a restraint on the use of force. The program will be moderated by Professor Jayne Huckerby, Clinical Professor of Law and Inaugural Director of Duke's International Human Rights Clinic. This event is part of the Human Rights in Practice series, organized by Duke Law's International Human Rights Clinic and the Center for International and Comparative Law. Co-sponsored by Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute, Duke Human Rights Center at the Kenan Institute for Ethics, Human Rights Law Society and International Law Society.
