Wearable Art by Betty Ann Winters

January 27 - March 10, 2021

Arts & Health Galleries,
Duke Hospital Concourse, near Duke Central Tower Entry

Betty Ann Winters is a textile and fiber artist living and working in Morganton, North Carolina.

"My formal education is in Floriculture, which is the study of floral design & horticulture. For me, it offers the best of both worlds ~ the blending of art with nature. I find inspiration and peace in the gardens and woods that surround my home and studio.

I love to experiment with different textures and materials. I especially love to use vintage & thrift store finds. They give me a sense of honoring the past, and protecting the future health of our world."
