Prep Session for D.C. Events [Registration required]

Sanford Embark, The Duke Career Center and the Sanford Career Center are partnering to offer 4 different events in Washington, DC in mid-February aimed to support those undergrad and graduate students who are interested in careers & jobs in politics, advocacy, government, non-profits and policy that have less obvious, less linear paths. This prep session is highly recommended if you plan on attending any of the events in D.C.

This session aims to prepare students for the following events:

-EVENT #1 Networking Event with Duke Alumni from Duke Public Policy Network
Thursday, February 15th | 6-7:30pm

-EVENT #2 Georgetown University's Government & Nonprofit Career Expo
Friday, February 16th | 10am-3pm

-EVENT #3 DC IMPACTlink 2018
Friday, February 16th | *If you are selected to interview, they will be scheduled between 9am and 5pm.

-EVENT #4 Set up informational interviews with alums and other DC-based contacts
Either Thursday or Friday
