Board of Trustees Open Forum

The communication initiatives by the Board of Trustees are designed to give members of the Duke community more information about the ongoing work of the trustees.

Within a week following each board meeting (there are four each academic year), the Office of the Secretary will post on the public Board of Trustees website summaries of meetings of the board and its standing committees. Once the summaries are posted, we will host an open forum for all members of the Duke community to discuss the summaries and ask questions. Student and faculty members of committees will be invited to attend the forums and respond to questions. All members of the Duke community are welcome to attend the open forums.

Trustees hope the initiatives will provide the Duke community with more information about trustee meetings and any actions that the board takes. If you are interested in the work of the Board of Trustees, we hope to see you at the open forums.
