Longitudinal Comparative Study on Ageing in Persons with Intellectual Disability: Perspectives on Leading a Multi-Year Longitudinal Study

Mary McCarron, PhD, MA, RNID, RGN, BNS F.T.C.D is Professor of Ageing and Intellectual Disability; Director of the Trinity Centre for Excellence in Ageing
and Intellectual Disability at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.

Dr. McCarron will provide insights into designing and implementing a multiyear longitudinal study. The target audience for this symposium will be faculty and doctoral students interested in designing longitudinal studies. Strategies to reduce attrition, analytical strategies for handling missing data in longitudinal studies, and/or other perspectives will be addressed.
