Grafting Japanese Maples

Bobby Mottern, Director of Horticulture at Duke Gardens, will show you how to join the root of one plant to the trunk of another; a standard propagation technique used when plants are difficult to reproduce. Each participant will complete several grafts of Japanese Maples and take one tree home to grow in your garden. Trees, roots, and all supplies included. $65; $52 for Gardens members.
