9:00 am - 7:00 pm

We are fast approaching the date for Duke's first Global Game Jam! The GGJ is a 48-hour game development challenge held January 31st-February 2nd at the Duke Game Lab, Link Classroom 6. The GGJ allows participants of every experience level to explore the development process in a collaborative and creative environment-- all condensed into one weekend!

Participants will be divided into teams to create digital or analog games based on this year's secret theme shared on Friday. Games will be designed and iterated throughout the weekend before finally being shared with the Global Game Jam's community of over 800 sites around the world.

Designers of all levels are welcome, no prior experience required! This event is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty interested in design.

Register here. Registration closes on January 12th. Sponsored by the Game Lab, The Games and Culture Lab, and Learning Innovation. Contact katya.gorecki@duke.edu if you have any questions.
