Black History Month Dinner

Join us as we celebrate Black History Month with a particular focus on "African Americans and the Vote!" Enjoy a special themed menu and event features to include a look back at barriers to voting for African Americans before the 15th , 19th and 24th Amendments and a celebration of black elected officials at the local and national levels. In attendance will be Durham Sheriff Clarence Birkhead, and Durham City Council Members Vernetta Alston and DeDeana Freeman. Not registered to vote? There will even be representation to make sure you get registered!
