Research Symposium: A Call to Action: Identifying next steps to address biomedical, health care, and social drivers of COVID-19 disparities

This online university-wide symposium on COVID-19 Disparities and Health Equity will identify causes, consequences, and solutions as they relate to COVID 19 and its impact on our community. The symposium will bridge a scientific audience, ranging from lab science to community and population health science, to environmental science, to social science, ethics, and policy. Key representatives from our community will provide their perspectives.

Attendees will be able to ask questions for panelists' consideration via the Q&A function of Zoom, and may identify opportunities for collaboration that leverage existing strengths at Duke and beyond to address this major public health challenge.

This event is sponsored by: Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), REACH Equity, the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI), and the Samuel Dubois Cook Center on Social Equity.
