Speaker Event: Jon Hilsenrath '89 on Yellen: The Trailblazing Economist Who Navigated an Era of Upheaval

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to a DFE speaker event featuring Jon Hilsenrath, '89 alum and Senior Writer at the Wall Street Journal. He will discuss his new book, "Yellen: The Trailblazing Economist Who Navigated an Era of Upheaval" (Harper Business, 2022), which tells the story of Janet Yellen, the Treasury Secretary and former Federal Reserve Chairwoman. The book explains how Yellen broke every glass ceiling in economics, examines her love story with husband George Akerlof, a Nobel Prize winner himself, and retraces the last half century of U.S. economic upheaval.
