Office for Institutional Equity Topic Specific Workshop Series

The Office for Institutional Equity offers a series of topic specific workshops designed to provide more focused education and support on key issues related to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. The sessions are open to the Duke community, in particular to staff interested in increasing skill and workplace culture in their departments. Registration is required for each session.

This session will take a closer look at our recent collective experience with COVID-19 and the impact of that experience on equity and inclusion. Participants will learn about collective trauma and the unique situation we find ourselves in relative to this global pandemic. Participants will learn about experiences different populations have faced through Covid and how that impacts our current work environment. Additionally, participants will engage in interactive experiences that help us develop skills to address collective trauma.

Designed for staff, student, and faculty learners.
