Last minute shopping for Valentine's Day? Looking for a romantic date idea? Come to the Free Store!Duke's Free Store allows Duke students, staff and faculty to donate and/or take any gently used office supplies, books, classroom supplies, kitchen supplies, or other miscellaneous items. You are FREE to leave items you don't want anymore, and FREE to take whatever is available! This year, the Free Store will be easily accessible at a table on The Plaza or in the Bryan Center (depending on weather) and open from Noon to 4:30 p.m. You can also "like" the Free Store on Facebook and help get the word out to your friends!Disclaimers: Duke property must be disposed of through the surplus program. The Free Store is a wonderful source of all kinds of free stuff, but cannot accept anything that is potentially dangerous or toxic, alive, larger than a Men's basketball player, or illegal.
