Carolyn O. Lee, MSW, LCSW is a clinical social worker in a private psychotherapy practice in Raleigh, NC, where she works with adults, adolescents, couples, and provides supervision. She received her bachelor¿s degree from Duke University and her MSW from the University of Michigan¿s School of Social Work in Ann Arbor. Carolyn is certified in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and has been practicing psychotherapy for 17 years. Carolyn is a faculty member and clinical supervisor for the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas (PECC), and serves on PECC¿s Curriculum Committee. Carolyn worked for many years at Alamance County Mental Health Center on the Counseling Team and in the Adult Psychiatric Day Program. She was a University of North Carolina School of Social Work field instructor for MSW students when she worked at a county mental health center. She currently is on the Student Treatment Referral Committee, whose goal is to provide low fee psychotherapy for MSW students. Carolyn has training in both eating disorders and general psychiatric inpatient units and partial hospitalization programs. She created and facilitated an eating disorders psychotherapy group at The Women¿s Center in Chapel Hill, NC. Carolyn also has years of experience working with people with autism, having counseled adults and children both in and out of their homes, with a range of developmental and social challenges.
