Xiaolin Wei

Dr. Wei had his medical training in China and then graduated from the Beijing University with an MPH in health management. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, Canada. He has worked in the China Ministry of Health, University of Toronto, University of Leeds and CUHK with extensive research work in tuberculosis control, cardiovascular diseases and primary health care. He leads a primary care comparison study in four cities of China, and the China project of a DFID funded research consortium called health delivery studies (Comdis HSD). He has provided technical consultancies and advising services to the World Health Organization, The World Bank, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and World Vision.
