Conducting Research in Schools: Opportunities and Challenges

Interested in doing research in area schools? This panel discussion, featuring school district representatives and Duke researchers will provide answers to questions about how to develop, gain approval for, and implement research that takes place in school settings and that may involve students, teachers, and administrators.

Panelists include:

Amy Davis, Coordinator of Grants, Research and Development, Durham Public Schools
Jake Henry, Chief Academic Officer, Orange County Schools
Katie Rosanbalm, Research Scientist, Center for Child and Family Policy

The discussion will be moderated by Jenni Owen and Leslie Babinski, co-directors of Duke's School Research Partnership. Lunch will be provided; please RSVP to ehlayko@duke.edu by February 19.
