Arts & Health at Duke presents The Art of Freeman Beard at the Morrison Exhibit Space, located near Clinic 1D, in the Duke Clinics Building located at 40 Duke Medicine Circle, Durham, NC from July 12 - September 5, 2017. This exhibit is free and open to the public.

Freeman Beard is a local artist who draws and paints North Carolina landscapes. His work is featured in the Duke University Hospital Collection and can be found in patient rooms throughout the hospital.

"I am very thankful for the gift of an ability to draw and paint, and it is my pleasure to use that gift to share my view of beauty with you.
I grew up in a rural setting in North Carolina, gaining an appreciation for the land, the seasons and the beauty that was all around me. My paintings can be found in private and corporate collections around the country."
