Multiple sclerosis is a debilitating chronic autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system. Recently, researchers have shown that infection by Epstein-Barr Virus—the virus that causes mononucleosis—might be the key event that induces MS. Come hear how this realization has changed the way we think about MS and how we might go about treating it.
