Give a pint, get a pint!

The American Red Cross will be on campus in CIEMAS, specifically the Schiciano Auditorium atrium from 11:00-4:30 to collect blood donations. Winter weather results in increased illness, injury, and associated blood demand. Winter storms have resulted in many cancelled drives, so there is a current blood shortage. Help save lives by making a generous blood donation. Appointments can be scheduled at redcrossblood.org using sponsor code DUKE. Walk-ins are welcome. Non-donor volunteer opportunities are available.

Donors over 21 with valid ID will have the option of a free alcoholic beverage following their donation, in addition to the normal refreshments provided. Please be responsible if you choose to partake; reduced blood volume after donation will result in a higher than normal BAC (and therefore intoxication) following alcohol consumption!
