Voice Masterclass with Klaus Dieter Jung and Andrea Edith Moore, soprano
Esteemed Coach, Conductor and collaborative pianist, Klaus Dieter Jung has held positions as Kapellmeister at the theaters in Erfurt und Plauen, the Musikdirektor of the Landestheater Niederoesterreich St. Poelten and also led the choir of the Vienna State Opera. For many years Maestro Jung has been sharing his experience and passion for opera, operetta, and Lied with young singers and students at the Hamburg Conservatory, but also internationally in workshops and academia including the University of Memphis, the University of North Carolina, as professor at the Jining University Qufu/China, in Slovenia, and in the Austrian Steiermark.
Soprano Andrea Edith Moore's performances have spanned the globe from Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires to Munich and Hamburg and back home to her native North Carolina where she is a regular principle artist with the North Carolina Opera and "wows audiences with her powerful and flexible soprano voice, her acting ability, and her dedication and drive."(CVNC). She is a prize-winner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and holds degrees from Yale University, the Peabody Conservatory of Music at The Johns Hopkins University and University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
