Saxophone Masterclass with Emily Loboda
Emily Loboda is an accomplished solo saxophonist, chamber musician, and educator. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras in Tennessee, Michigan, and North Carolina; and has been heard as a soloist and chamber musician throughout North America including performances in Ohio, Colorado, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. As a promoter of new music, she has commissioned and performed the world premiere of "New Methods of Wayfinding" by Robin McLaughlin at the 2018 North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) Biennial Conference. Emily also commissioned and performed "Journal Entries of an Introvert," by Evan Boegehold at the 2016 NASA Biennial Conference. She is the saxophone instructor at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee and Mitchell Community College in Statesville, North Carolina, and lecturer at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This masterclass is free and open to the public.
