Dr. Heather Whitson & Dr. Deborah Gold
Pratt Master's Professional Development Program

NPR: According to the U.S. Census Bureau, "older people will outnumber children for the first time in U.S. history by 2035." Forbes: "With growing numbers, older adults represent a dynamic emerging market and human capital resource. As markets evolve to meet their needs and aspirations, opportunities abound."

This workshop will provide students a better understanding of U.S. aging trends and the needs/concerns of aging Americans that they can bring in their future roles as entrepreneurs and roles in technology, medical, and health care-related companies.

Pratt Master's students can register for this workshop at mywco.com/pratt on the Professional Development Schedule.

Facilitator Bios: Dr. Heather Whitson is the Director of the Duke Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development and a nationally-recognized geriatrics researcher.
