Kayak to Klemtu (2017, directed by Zoe Leigh Hopkins, 1 hour 3 minutes)

After her uncle's death, a 14-year-old girl must speak on his behalf against a proposed pipeline that would bring oil tanker traffic to the waters around her hometown in British Columbia. This film is suitable for younger audiences and families. This film complements Art for a New Understanding: Native Voices, 1950s to Now. This film series is co-sponsored by the Program in the Arts of the Moving Image at Duke.
