Duke Children's Health & Discovery Initiative Research Showcase

The Children's Health & Discovery Initiative (CHDI) was launched by the Department of Pediatrics in 2017, with the goal of fostering multidisciplinary and innovative research that will positively impact childhood and lifelong health. By bringing together researchers from across Duke, both within and outside the School of Medicine, and through collaborations with community and government organizations, the CHDI takes a holistic approach to understanding the early life origins of health and disease. Research efforts cross four key research areas:
* Genes & Biology
* Physical Environment
* Health & Behavior Needs
* Social & Economic Factors
The Research Showcase will feature presentations from CHDI pilot funding recipients, a poster session for child health researchers from across Duke University, and announcement of latest CHDI pilot funding awardees.
