Info Session: São Paulo Researchers Intl (SPRINT) Grant

The Duke Brazil Initiative (DBI) is pleased to announce an information session on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 to introduce a new, collaborative grant opportunity for Duke faculty members interested in conducting research with partners in Brazil. The grant program, São Paulo Researchers International (SPRINT), is the result of an agreement between Duke University and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and offers up to $15,000 in seed funding per project for a year of exchange activities between research teams at Duke and in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. All PI-eligible researchers at Duke in all fields in the University and Health Systems may apply for SPRINT funding.

Representatives from DBI will give a brief overview of the Duke-FAPESP agreement and answer questions about SPRINT objectives and guidelines. Refreshments will be served.
