Black Arts Night

In celebration of Black History Month, duARTS, Spoken Verb, Nakisai, Amandla Chorus, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and United in Praise will be putting on a Black Arts Night, an event meant to show the creative spirit, talents, history, and beatufy of the African Diaspora here at Duke.
The event will be from 7:00-9:00pm in White Lecture Hall on February 23rd. All are welcome to attend and there will be a short speech on the importance of black art from joint professor of African and African American studies and dance, Thomas DeFrantz.
