Ciliated Cell Heterogeneity in the Lung

Alan Fine, M.D. (Professor of Medicine, Director RCR Program, Boston University)
Dr. Fine is a practicing Pulmonologist, bench researcher, and bioethicist. He received his M.D. from the University of Michigan (1984) and completed his medical residency (1984) and pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at Boston University (1988). He also completed a fellowship at the Harvard University Center for Bioethics. Alan has been an active member of the Boston University Pulmonary Center faculty since 1988. For the past 30 years, he has led an NIH funded research program that examines basic biological questions regarding how the lung grows, develops, and responds to injury.
