Writing Home: A workshop in the spirit of Poetry for the People for thinking, reading, and creating in community about home

In the spirit of Marcus Garvey's and June Jordan's community-centered poetry work, Writing Home is an invitation to think, read, and create in community about home in Durham, presented by the Representing Migration Humanities Lab.

Together we will:

- think about the power of our stories
- read poems of "home" in its many forms
- think about our lives and dreams in Durham
- write! draw! create!
- be in community
- share our powerful stories

Facilitated by Nicole Higgins and Jessica Covil.
