About the lecture
In 2018, the WHO challenged the global health community to set it's sights on cervical cancer elimination, defining ambitious public health targets to meet that goal. Despite the increased momentum, women in underserved areas around the world continue to get caught in the gap between effective cervical cancer prevention technologies and the realities of their environment. Megan Huchko will describe her work to understand and address the barriers that women in western Kenya face to successfully complete the cervical cancer cascade, and Jacob Stocks will talk about his experience working with providers on the ground to develop a mobile app to address some of these barriers.
