Telomere-To-Telomere Chromosome Assemblies: New Insights Into Genome Biology and Structure

The Center for Advanced Genomic Technologies is excited to have Karen Miga, Ph.D. give a virtual seminar on January 7, from 12:00-1:00pm EST.

Dr. Miga has had a fantastic year since she visited Duke last January, including a paper published in Nature over the summer and having received new R01 funding in the fall. Moreover, Nature just highlighted her as a "scientist to watch" in 2021:
