David L Paletz Creative Writing Guest Series: Tyree Daye

David L. Paletz Creative Writing Guest Series featuring Tyree Daye
Poet Tyree Daye will be joining Professor Mesha Maren's English 110S "Into to Creative Writing" class to discuss his poetry. He will be the second of four creative writing guests to visit the class this spring.
Daye is the author of two poetry collections: River Hymns, the 2017 winner of the APR/Honickman First Book Prize, and Cardinal, published in 2020. He is a North Carolina native and is currently a Teaching Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Daye will be joining the class virtually via Zoom. His visit will be streamed to Facebook Live for the Duke Community and the general public to enjoy.
This opportunity to have guest writers visit virtually is made possible by "David L. Paletz Call for Innovation Course Enhancement" grants.
