Theater Studies Fall Mainstage: Golem

Saturday, November 06, 2021
7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

In New York City, a few years after 9/11, after Abu Ghraib, four young artist friends ask themselves how far they will go to do something that matters. Can they ever go back to September 10th, find love, or change the world? Will they summon a golem, a monster, to save them or will the golem have a mind of its own?

Written by Neal Bell | Directed by Jody McAuliffe

Golem has been produced in accordance with the Covid compliance standards required by the Actors' Equity Association and Duke University. The audience is restricted to the Duke community. Seating and stage are intimate, and social distancing is not in place. Masking is required for the duration of the performance for the audience and production team. Please note that the five actors will be unmasked while on stage; each is tested and confirmed negative prior to each performance.
