Translating Duke Health CVD Workshop: Recovery from Heart Failure

As a part of the Translating Duke Health Cardiovascular Diseases Initiative, we are pleased to announce the third of a series of workshops on Robustness, Resilience and Rejuvenation in cardiovascular disease. This workshop will focus on "Recovery from Heart Failure."

Discussion panelists include: Joe Rogers, Howard Rockman and Midge Bowers. The moderator will be Chet Patel.

The goals of this workshop are to:
¿ Develop a greater understanding of cardiovascular robustness, resilience and rejuvenation relating to Recovery from Heart Failure
¿ Identify areas and approaches for future research, ranging from fundamental discovery science to population health
¿ Stimulate discussion and collaboration across campus in advance of an anticipated seed grant RFP this fall for TDH-CVD, as well to inform further thinking in this major area of Duke Health investment

The target audience is:
¿ Duke Health and Duke University scientists and trainees interested in cardiovascular disease and robustness, resilience and rejuvenation
¿ Individuals and labs considering anticipating TDH-CVD grant submissions this fall
