Laurids Sonne (MFA|EDA) Installation Array Opening Reception

Laurids Andersen Sonne is a Danish born interdisciplinary artist. Laurids' work spans moving image, installation, sculpture, performance and socially engaged art. Laurids sees art as a tool that can be used for many things: as a catalyst for personal contributions and ameliorations on our surroundings: a way to explore, discover and unfold serious topics about the world around us and the creatures living in it. Laurids holds a BA in Social Anthropology from Lund University, Sweden and is currently pursuing an MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts from Duke University.
