Duke Hospital Lecture Hall 2001, one floor directly above the main lobby of Duke University Hospital (Duke North)

University of Houston engineering professor Jose Contreras-Vidal, Ph.D., and artist Dario Robleto will give a talk about the biological mechanisms that allow humans to engage with visual art, music, dance and other artistic disciplines. They will discuss their work in neuroaesthetics and their research that used mobile EEGs to track brain waves of museum visitors. Refreshments provided. This free talk is sponsored by The Duke Division of Geriatrics and the Nasher Museum, with support from Bass Connections.

When using Google Maps, do NOT go to "Duke North Pavilion." Enter "Duke University Hospital" instead.
