Deadline: Spring 2021 Duke Design Health Member Application

Duke Design Health is an innovative program that brings together engineering and business graduate students with medical trainees to develop needs-based solutions to problems in the clinical setting.

The program, as it enters its third year, is accepting applications for Design Health Associates joining in Spring 2021. The application deadline is November 30, 2020.

Design Health Associates can join the program in Spring 2021 or Fall 2021-a one-semester commitment required. Associates will participate actively as innovators and team members, bringing their expertise and skills to the team and project execution.

All participants must be willing to commit 5 to 10 hours a week. Participants will receive coaching from experts in medicine, innovation and product development, entrepreneurship and engineering. Team members do not join Duke Design Health with specific needs or solutions in mind-but, must be willing to explore opportunities through a structured discovery process.
