Perceived risks of waterpipe tobacco smoking among young adults
Isaac Lipkus is a Professor at the Duke University School of Nursing, and is a social/health psychologist by training. His research focuses mostly on persuasive communications, with a focus on risk communication, to promote lifestyle behavior changes. His current research examines various approaches (e.g., health warnings) to affect risks perceptions related to waterpipe (i.e., hookah) tobacco smoking among younger adults.
