Cello Masterclass with David Finckel

Prateek Khandelwal, Lauren Simmons, and Jacob Egol perform excerpts of works by Beethoven, Bach, and Elgar for David Finckel.

Together with Wu Han, David Finckel serves as Co-Artistic Director of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS). He is Professor of Cello at The Juilliard School and Artist-in-Residence at Stony Brook University. From 2013 to 2018, he led an intensive chamber music studio at the Aspen Music Festival and School. David Finckel served as cellist of the Grammy Award-winning Emerson String Quartet for 34 seasons.
